Abstract
Background & Purpose: In recent decades, along with the comprehensive development of technology and methods of utilizing services, there are constant threats to the health of the aviation industry. This research has been conducted among pilots, flight engineers and flight safety team with more than 15 years of experience. The purpose of this study is to review and compare risk assessment strategies and calculation of risk potential in air transport lines.
Methodology: The research was performed using TOPSIS method to prioritize the methods, PMB method, Pre-chart method, Leach method, Wideman method, Proma method, G-Smith method and Alarm method, respectively.
Findings: Findings show that PMB method as the first priority, Pre-Chart method as the second priority, Leach method as the third priority, Wideman method as the fourth priority, Proma method as the fifth priority, J. Smith method to The sixth priority is the alarm method and the seventh priority is the evaluation of risk methods.
Conclusion: The results show risk assessment strategies: availability of information, ease, speed of risk assessment, practicality, method efficiency, compliance with international standards, possibility of feedback on future flights to prevent accidents.
